So many hen parties nowadays seem to go over the top. You see the bride-to-be dressed in dubious clothing and there is often outrageous behaviour as you see the revellers falling out of nightclubs and bars.
In fact it is perfectly possible to have a wild time but behave sensibly. You can enjoy yourself without getting hideously drunk and feeling rough the next day. By all means dress up a bit – colourful clothing, deely boppers and glow bracelets, but there is no need to go to the extreme lengths that many young girls seem to go to.
Instead of centering the hen night on a pub, why not go for a pamper day instead? You can have great fun in a luxurious spa together and this means that the elder female relatives can also be included. After all, where would we be without Mum on our hen night?
Or maybe an action day, something wild that you have never done before such as paragliding or circuit racing. There are so many ideas that you can come up with as an alternative to the drunken hen night.
If you and your friends can afford it, a weekend in Paris or Rome makes for a super special hen night. You can take in the sights, do a little shopping and enjoy yourself.
